Why should I report an Issue with Geocaching®?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. This is a community run sport, I'd rather see a more simple app that costs less.Super cool concept! Haven't gotten to really use the app too much just yet, but I've noticed that it offers detailed maps, fun/informational hints and the ability to track and record your progress, while also communicating with others that are Geocaching, as well.

2. It was cool finding the first cache, but if the app can't help us find another one, it's not much good to us.The unpaid version is missing some important features such as an offline mode (doesn't need to have detailed maps, just a way to download and view geocaches in your area).

3. My rating kept 4 stars simply for existing, lost one star due to the annoyances I've experienced.Since when have we ever had to pay for having fun geocaching? Never once did I have to upgrade to premium to find a cache that is a "higher difficulty" or "has difficult terrain," I figured that out on my own.

4. The app does have several minor bugs and glitches like the smiley not showing up on the map, photos not uploading with the log, our finds disappearing from the map, and photos being taken sideways (though I've mostly solved that one if I take the photo with my phone sideways).

5. The app does lack some desired functionality and is glitchy sometimes, but it works and definitely streamlines things! It sometimes doesn't show all of the caches in the area and I'm not sure why, but that's a big problem for me.

6. I would however suggest when people put things like: (caution could have: snakes, wild animals, etc.) The app can automatically pull up ways to deal with the danger, little survival tips and what to do in an emergency.

7. It's an amazingly neat concept, that allows you to be active, while remaining in your own comfort zone while doing it - because of the varying levels of difficulty available, etc.

8. Half the time when I click on a premium cachbit says it can't connect to the store.

9. Essentially they are charging a subscription fee to copy & paste.This app is absolutely game-changing for those of us who remember the inconvenience of caching with a GPS device back in the stone ages.

10. Overall I love geocaching! I used to do it with my mom as a kid and then introduced my partner to it last year.

1. Fix Geocaching Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Geocaching: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Geocaching App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Geocaching" » Open Geocaching® » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Geocaching » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Geocaching® app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Geocaching servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Geocaching®" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Geocaching app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Geocaching might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Geocaching. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Geocaching then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Geocaching not working

2. Fix Geocaching Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Geocaching be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Geocaching not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Geocaching may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
