1. I want to be able to turn off wifi and write, but offline files created in the Dropbox or GDrive folders disappear as soon as you reconnect to the internet, & offline changes you do to files in those same folders also disappear as soon as you go online.
2. I'm giving the app 4 stars despite my combination of fury and amusement at the text editor that won't edit text because maybe you're fine with ".md", and if so it's a decent app.I've been using iAWriter from the beginning.
3. If I start writing the top UI hides itself, but then if I want to click or select text it comes snapping back in in a very intrusive manner.
4. Also you can't duplicate files within the app for some reason.[Updated- found the source of previous bug, worked around it] Latest update removed Device (Public) location.
5. It'll sometimes also throw a "could not load document" error when I back out of a newly created document and try to re-enter which gives me a heart attack that I've lost work.
6. There's a lot to like, but the decision to prevent me from using my font style of choice (monospace like Courier Prime) is irritating, and the inability to name my document while inside it is frustrating.
7. :(I was looking for a simple writing app that would work offline but would also sync between devices when online.
8. 1 star because I can't use it as advertised and a major function doesn't work. The app is very pretty, but makes the odd, ironic, distinction that "Markdown" is its own file format.
9. Add to this that it was miserable trying to move locally-saved files from one device to another. After Jotterpad shot itself in the foot too many times I switched to this.
10. Unless I can find a way around this, I'm going back to standard notes.Seems alright at first, but its super annoying how the UI keeps appearing and dissappearing and shifting the screen around.
11. I just completely lost 2 hours worth of writing, because I was using the app without an internet connection.
