Why should I report an Issue with iA Writer: Focused Writing?

1. I want to be able to turn off wifi and write, but offline files created in the Dropbox or GDrive folders disappear as soon as you reconnect to the internet, & offline changes you do to files in those same folders also disappear as soon as you go online.

2. I'm giving the app 4 stars despite my combination of fury and amusement at the text editor that won't edit text because maybe you're fine with ".md", and if so it's a decent app.I've been using iAWriter from the beginning.

3. If I start writing the top UI hides itself, but then if I want to click or select text it comes snapping back in in a very intrusive manner.

8. 1 star because I can't use it as advertised and a major function doesn't work.The app is very pretty, but makes the odd, ironic, distinction that "Markdown" is its own file format.

1. Fix iA Writer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart iA Writer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the iA Writer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iA Writer" » Open iA Writer: Focused Writing » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iA Writer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear iA Writer: Focused Writing app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iA Writer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iA Writer: Focused Writing" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check iA Writer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iA Writer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall iA Writer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iA Writer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iA Writer not working

2. Fix iA Writer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iA Writer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iA Writer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iA Writer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
