1. It's simple and makes timed writing very fun, especially when using the prompts.Normally this app is great! I've only used it a little, but it does a good of motivating me to write when I have just a vague idea.

2. The only thing I find frustrating is the point to unlock system, it doesn't allow me to challenge myself like I want to til I've reached a certain milestone.I'm so happy they fixed the bug! I'm unable to edit my original review but as I said before this is my favorite writing app.

3. This app is great as a warm up tool, or just as a way for busy writers to get a few words in on days when they can't work on their main projects.Consistently works, and I LOVE that I can now continue my challenges based on past writing.

4. My only complaint is that it's difficult to continue writing a prompt (some click and scroll issues) and it costs you points when you can't get it to scroll to the bottom, but you've managed to start the timer.

5. In the time it takes to swipe a longer word, the red line will creep in, your writing will go out of focus, and your ideas will be interrupted.I think this could be the best writing app out there, with some improvements.

6. If you like to use swipe technology to type on your phone, you're at a huge disadvantage and will likely lose all the challenges, especially if you need to use a word with three or more syllables.

7. All in all, I would reinstall the app with these improvements.Simple and effective way to build a small writing habit.

8. I also wish I could see more of my analytics, streaks, writing speed, writing time over time etc.

1. Fix Call of Writing Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Call of Writing: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Call of Writing App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Call of Writing" » Open Call of Writing: Prompts & Fun » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Call of Writing » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Call of Writing: Prompts & Fun app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Call of Writing servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Call of Writing: Prompts & Fun" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Call of Writing app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Call of Writing might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Call of Writing. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Call of Writing then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Call of Writing not working

2. Fix Call of Writing Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Call of Writing be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Call of Writing not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Call of Writing may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
