1. I was hoping the free version would have dark screen, but since my phone has that option for a setting, it is no big deal that the app does not offer it.I love this app for story writing! It allows me to work offline and save my files to the cloud so I can access them on all my devices.

2. Though some of the buttons are a bit confusing to me, I currently have no problems with this app! I love to make stories with this, and it has options for setting it up the way you want! (Ex: Novel, Screenplay, etc.) I'm going to keep it-!I do really love jotterpad, one of the best writing apps.

3. And then it takes another 5 to 10 seconds (so far) just to see what I typed!I got this app about a year ago and its really good for writing thoughts, dreams, and short stories! The formatting (for what you've written) is a little hard to figure out at least for me, but otherwise it's a great app.

4. It should not take me that long to import a photo, all because importing a photo from the gallery is a premium feature (that I wasn't aware of until AFTER it made me sign in.) On top of that, the layout's confusing, and I feel this is more of a way to "take notes", not write "novels" which it's being marketed as.

5. But now that it's monthly, I'll have to skip this.Been using JotterPad since I bought my current phone four years ago.

8. edit: I saw someone say their files were lost, and I'd just like to make sure to tell you: if you don't save your files to your cloud (you can add one cloud account for free), they will not save if you reset your device!!!! ok Im doneYikes.

1. Fix JotterPad Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart JotterPad: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the JotterPad App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "JotterPad" » Open JotterPad - Writer, Screenplay » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for JotterPad » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear JotterPad - Writer, Screenplay app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from JotterPad servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "JotterPad - Writer, Screenplay" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check JotterPad app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, JotterPad might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall JotterPad. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall JotterPad then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing JotterPad not working

2. Fix JotterPad Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make JotterPad be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to JotterPad not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, JotterPad may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
