1. I actually find this app to work great and the interface is beautiful for an FTP.the app worked wonderfully for what I wanted to use it for, transferring files to a Homebrew 3ds, but after I started using it I began to get weird pop-ups on my phone that said they were clearing up space on my phone or optimizing battery without any input from myself, and all of them contained an ad for Google Fi.
2. This can get up to multiple seconds with 100 files or so.The app is very good for single file transfers, but is awful for any bulk transfers, as any small error in your connection will stop the entire queue, which is inevitable on a device that can't have a wired connection.
3. It sends a LOT of unnecessary commands to the server (CWD before every transfer I can maybe excuse, but LIST after every file while doing a batch upload? Really?) and it's appallingly slow.
4. The app is wonderful, but as these pop-ups went away when I uninstalled the program and rebooted my phone, I'm afraid I can't really trust it.It works, it's intuitive, and it supports batch transfers, but that's about all I can say for it.
5. Two thumbs up.Does not see files on my phone that aren't a common extension! This used to be my preferred ftp android app but I'm going to have to look elsewhere until this is fixed.
6. I can't tell if AndFTP is trying to resume a partial file (good) or overwrite a complete file (bad).
7. During large batch uploads, there are big gaps between files as if it's iterating O(n) over every file it's already sent.
8. Today, for example, andftp became stuck simply because I laid the phone on my wireless charger.
9. At relatively random moments, such as when android screen blinks, screen orientation changes or some such, the bulk transfer becomes STUCK.
10. However, even with SCP, the app becomes stuck and unusable for completely spurious reasons like screen changes.Generally works as expected.
11. Especially since AndFTP clears selections after transferring Ughhhh, WHILE I was typing this review AndFTP crapped out for an unknown reason and will require a restart.
