I was about to install the very fat ES File Manager today when I realized that - while Andexplorer doesn't explicitly support the folder-shortcut capacity I was considering - all I had to do was to make its "Home Location" option the only folder to which I really needed a shortcut, anyway, then stick an AndExplorer shortcut where I can get at it easily.I don't think I'd be able to use my Nexus 7 without this app: it is so vital that I think of it as being built in, forgetting that I actually had to download it from Play Store! It has been on all my Android devices, from my very first phone and downloading it is part of my setting up process for a new device.

3. It is showing nothing except to go up to the previous level.Update needed! I've used this app for years but now I'm receiving interested that it may not work properly because it's made for an older version of Android.

4. totally awesome as no root required to rename file extensions like .jpg etc not sure if update issue or I'm just not on lollipop yet but this function has stopped working.

1. Restart AndExplorerPro (file manager): Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AndExplorerPro (file manager) App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AndExplorerPro (file manager)" » Open AndExplorerPro (file manager) » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AndExplorerPro (file manager) » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AndExplorerPro (file manager) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AndExplorerPro (file manager) servers.
