Why should I report an Issue with Mobilscan - your OBD tool?

MobilScan gives access to car information as defined by the ISO standards about OBD, this means that you can read out fault codes, continuously receive and display a full list of engine parameters like oxygen sensor readings, air mass, temperature sensors and other parameters used by the engine control computer (ECU).

2. MobilScan compiles information about the current state of the car, and allows you to send this as a HTML report to a receiver of your choice (e-mail, Bluetooth, ... NB!

1. Fix Mobilscan Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Mobilscan: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Mobilscan App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mobilscan" » Open Mobilscan - your OBD tool » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mobilscan » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Mobilscan - your OBD tool app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mobilscan servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mobilscan - your OBD tool" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Mobilscan app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mobilscan might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Mobilscan. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Mobilscan then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Mobilscan not working

2. Fix Mobilscan Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Mobilscan be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Mobilscan not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Mobilscan may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
