[Menu] → [Settings General] → [External Device Manager] → [Device Connection Manager] and changing [Access Notification] -> "First Time Only". - This option works on phones and tablets with built-in IR blaster such as Samsung Galaxy S, HTC ONE, LG G3/G4/G5, Xiaomi Mi / Redmi / Note, Huawei Mate / Honor etc). - Tested with Samsung TV F and M models, but probably works also with others Samsung Smart TV-s build 2005 and later (if it does, then let us now and give feedback). - Please note that you must point your phone’s IR blaster directly at the TV.

TV (Samsung) Remote Control Customer Insights

1. But at that point why bother? The app seems to need to be paired to the TV everyday, causing a little pop-up box on the TV asking to allow access, forcing Me to use the physical remote either way.

2. Works as intended once paired though.Just a couple minutes after install I replaced the remote our dog destroyed.

3. Now it's useless. This app works so much better than the remote provided by Samsung! I've only had my TV a few days and I've had nothing but problems with the physical remote.

4. I know it completely defeats the purpose of a remote app if you have the damn remote but alot of apps I've downloaded require it so I'm glad I found one that connects thru wifi forsure.

5. Thank goodness I don't find the buttons on a black remote.Works great.

6. Still, overall it is so much nicer and easier to use the cheap, physical remote provided by Samsung.Works very well with my Samsung.

7. I have the Samsung UHD series 8 and it works great w this app !"Failed! Network error or PIN expired? It worked great for a few months, only require pairing every couple of weeks or so.

8. At least it works once it's paired but only if you have another remote to turn the TV on.

9. CONNECTS THRU WIFI so you don't need the actual remote like some apps do - it's also FREE.

10. I haven't had to sign in to an app on my TV yet; but I'm thinking it will be a lot easier in a text box on my phone than using the arrows on a remote going back and forth and up and down with a remote to type in a username and password.

11. Working very well, but it has an old remote design instead of the latest Samsung TV mini remote.
