1. let me clarify, when I say it never allows me to connect to it I mean whenever I click on the found TV it goes back to the remote and if I had selected the TV and all is well but the moment I try to use the remote the search for TV window pops up again and it continues to be useless.It would be nice if the description would actually describe or list the TVs supported by the app.

2. The adds are minimal unlike some other apps out there that bombard you with adds.Any button other than volume or power just opens hulu, logs you in, and begins playing the first show it's on when the menu loads.

3. Great job on the app...thanks!It is useless,any time I attempt.to press a button it "searches" for a vizio tv, identifies my tv, but continues searching without ever allowing me to connect to it.

4. A bit concerning, but like I said, the app works great! Just make sure your phone is well protected! I work lvl 3 tech support, like I said, great app, just protect itself from their BS ads!!i had this app on a different phone and it worked great.

5. They like to show up on a slight delay so you unlock your phone, go to click a button, then click adds instead and have your mobile antivirus go on high alert while ads try to hijack your phone.

6. It will finally exit back to smartcast menu and then the process repeats if you try pressing anything again, even after hard restart of app and fresh install.Great app, functions absolutely amazingly well.

7. When an ad periodically pops up, you just "X" out in the corner.Best smartcast vizio remote.

8. Still learning to navigate qwerty keyboard option for hulu search...has one small glitch with backspace/delete key causing it to back up to the previous PAGE instead of deleting an incorrect character.

9. i got a new phone and redownloaded it, and after trying to use it, it says it won't work if the tv doesn't have smartcast.

1. Fix Remote Control Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Remote Control: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Remote Control App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Remote Control" » Open Remote Control for Vizio TV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Remote Control » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Remote Control for Vizio TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Remote Control servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Remote Control for Vizio TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Remote Control app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Remote Control might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Remote Control. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Remote Control then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Remote Control not working

2. Fix Remote Control Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Remote Control be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Remote Control not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Remote Control may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
