1. This app shows a lot of promise, but nothing worked and they charge too much... Then after a year they hope to charge you double.Having just tried the app for a few minutes, it seems like it could be amazing....a game changer for me....BUT I'm experiencing a weird focus issue on my Pixel 7 with this app.

2. Forwarding emails from any email address is super useful, other apps only allow receipts to be forwarded from one specific email address.

3. I tap to focus, which it does, but then 1 second later it goes back to being out of focus!! Please let me know when you have fixed this issue, as I would like to become a Prime member, but can't do this unless the focus works.

4. I've had an unresolved issue (it's not possible to upload receipts manually) which I've repeatedly contacted the company about for the last two years.

5. EDIT: the issue was resolved soon after my comment and it works very smoothly now!Generally works well, but very disappointed that they have dropped the ability to do a manual entry.

6. Hoping they can recover them but going forward I think I'll just go back to doing my taxes the old fashioned way of spreadsheets as its stressful enough without these technical issues! Disappointing.Extremely useful, easy to use, quick and simple.

7. Now I just discovered many of my receipts have been duplicated and when I started deleting the duplicates I noticed it deleted both copies! Now freaking out about the ones I've now lost.

8. Other than that it's great value for money for recording expenses and income requiring very little effort on my part.

9. When I come to take auto scans of the receipts, the camera does not focus automatically.

10. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app many times, restarted the phone many times, set up different accounts and payment methods... Did any of these attempts to make a simple purchase work? Nope.

11. In your email you state "as of the moment, we don't have much information when or will this feature is gonna placed back to 1tap."Working well so far.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix 1tap receipts Issues

1. Fix 1tap receipts Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart 1tap receipts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the 1tap receipts App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "1tap receipts" » Open 1tap receipts » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 1tap receipts » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear 1tap receipts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 1tap receipts servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "1tap receipts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check 1tap receipts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 1tap receipts might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall 1tap receipts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 1tap receipts then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 1tap receipts not working


2. Fix 1tap receipts Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 1tap receipts be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 1tap receipts not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 1tap receipts may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
