Why should I report an Issue with Camera Remote for Hero?

1. After that, you cannot connect to camera as it wants to ALSO be on internet to display purchase Ad... Worthless to try...Hero session navigation was already hard enough! But this app should have remedied that.

2. When it does connect to my Hero 4 it never allows camera control and only rarely allows me to see a live image.

3. After a lot of fiddling i was able to see the 'preview' mode, showing me what the gopro sees (hero4); but when i tried to make it record, i was immediately redirected to buy the full version.

1. Fix Camera Remote Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Camera Remote: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Camera Remote App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Camera Remote" » Open Camera Remote for Hero » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Camera Remote » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Camera Remote for Hero app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Camera Remote servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Camera Remote for Hero" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Camera Remote app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Camera Remote might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Camera Remote. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Camera Remote then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Camera Remote not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Camera Remote be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Camera Remote not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Camera Remote may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
