1. Updating/re-installing Camoodoo, camera and Smart Remote Control software didn't help (note SRC 4.30 is latest a6000 seems able to get, not 4.31). What finally restored reliable connectivity was to TURN OFF MOBILE DATA while using the app.
2. Thank you for this beautiful app!It works well with my Sony A6100, the only issue I have is when I try to shoot in bulb mode, when I've started my interval the app is unable to communicate with the camera and pauses the exposure which makes the sensor not close until I manually push the shutter button to stop the exposure.
3. Had a new update today and it is now pretty much perfect, the minimal controls now sit on top of the live view and other options come up if screen is pressed, giving maximum view area - great job.
4. This app has more options than PlayMemories, uses equipment that I'd carry with me all the time and that is easily chargeable, works faster than all other solutions save for the physical remote, and aside from PlayMemories, is the least expensive solution of the bunch.
5. It's a fiddly 3-tap process to turn off Touch Focus... instead could you just turn it off if I start tapping the (disabled) aperture, ISO, shutter speed buttons more than once?Update 10/12/2021, unfortunately can't give more than 5 stars.
6. Also i wanna the long shutter speed options was to be more flexible, like with the real remote control you can choose what you want.Excellent app.
7. Wish it was available for iOS :-( I had been using the Sony Imaging Edit app but it closes and disconnects if you try to run any other app, select split screen etc.
8. The only downside and difference from a professional (imo) hdmi field monitor is the live view quality, which is not the app's fault, but the quality that is transmitted through WiFi (hdmi quality is way better).
9. It allows me to go on shoots solo (no assistant or model!), with amazing remote control of the camera's main functions from a decent distance.
10. Camera A7III.Camoodoo has been a trusted partner for me and my Sony a6000 for the past 18 months.
11. I'm not sure if this a wifi issue with the app or camera or maybe I need to keep my phone awake till the whole process but that isn't feasible.
