Zimbra Customer Insights

1. This is not convenient for on-the-go folks like me who need to pop their schedule up every day while driving.The good thing about this app is that its responsive - so I can carry my desktop like experience, look and feel to my mobile! More features will be good, but what we have now is pretty neat.Horible, No mobile view, no push,... Didn't thought that zimbra, the leader in collaboration can deliver such a shame of a program.

2. I cant login my zimbra app whenever i open the app it gives an message " server is taking long then expected to respond " and only two option are appared Wait or Retry.. Kindly solve please..I am not able to do the login.

3. No one's know how to configure this.The app cannot recognise the server domain of my office mail but I use the same domain on my desktop, laptop and iPad.

4. Plain ugly :(This app giving error when i try to enter my mail server.

5. But i can enter with my mail server in desktop app.I have organisation email from canara bank.

6. Its asking for mail server but when I entered my mail server Its showing me the same error like "Invalid server.

7. But, the same mail server is worikng fine in browser.Looks like my search for the best app just got over.

8. But in the app i find it very difficult to setup server domain.

9. I get an unsupported server version.

10. It uses 80 and 443 ports to deliver the most ugly, no mobile feature.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zimbra Issues

1. Fix Zimbra Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zimbra: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zimbra App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zimbra" » Open Zimbra: Email Collaboration Pr » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zimbra » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zimbra: Email Collaboration Pr app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zimbra servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zimbra: Email Collaboration Pr" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zimbra app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zimbra might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zimbra. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zimbra then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zimbra not working


2. Fix Zimbra Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zimbra be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zimbra not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zimbra may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
