1. I love this app, besides the fact that I get two copies of every photo, and when using the volume capture function I get the volume bar stuck in the screenshot, it's great! If these things change, I'll change my review :) EDIT: Is there any chance you could add a root method that would allow this to work better for users that have root access? Also, regarding the two copies of every photo, why does this happen?Works very well doing what it claims to do (with a slight delay)! The problem is that after I close the app ("Kill Service"), my gallery is missing and I have to reboot my phone every time! Until they fix that, my rating stays at ★★.

11. Have I "provided enough information" for you "developer"? Your app does legitimately nothing! Nothing other than what any modern cellphone already does.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SnapGrab Issues

1. Fix SnapGrab Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SnapGrab: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SnapGrab App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SnapGrab" » Open SnapGrab - Private Screenshot Tool with Encryption » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SnapGrab » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SnapGrab - Private Screenshot Tool with Encryption app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SnapGrab servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SnapGrab - Private Screenshot Tool with Encryption" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SnapGrab app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SnapGrab might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SnapGrab. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SnapGrab then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SnapGrab not working


2. Fix SnapGrab Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SnapGrab be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SnapGrab not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SnapGrab may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
