Verizon Cloud Customer Insights

1. After spending the last 2 days getting all my data uploaded to Verizon cloud and losing many documents for non supported files, I then find out that they said they were saving me $ and changing plans to only find out that they added in cloud storage, without my permission, that use to be free with my subscription I had prior to now paying $5.99 per month.

2. If your phone is "full," clean it out and expand the storage if you can.Verizon cloud works really well for storing all your photos, videos, contacts, files and a few other.

3. When I first started using cloud it was like around 25gb of free storage then they dropped it to 5gb and now none.Doesn't work with my BYOP device.

4. I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years, and have never once been told the truth about anything.Just got a new phone, and having over 400 contacts, 1000+ pictures and around 100 texts, it made it very easy to transfer everything to the new phone.

5. I just wanted to sync my old phone contacts (only free feature remaining) and it doesn't work.

6. My reason for the 3 stars is simply due to the fact that Verizon used to offer 5gb of storage for FREE!!! Now they want you to pay for what used to be provided for free to their customers.

7. I've found no way to edit or even see contacts that are saved in Verizon's Cloud either.

8. When you back up a phone, and download your data to a new device, it dumps every single file into a single folder, no matter what form of organization you had before.

9. In addition, it doesn't back up certain file types, (.mpegs and .wmas, for example), which means you have the potential to lose gigabytes of data I'd you trust this faulty app.

10. You'd be better off just using a generic, third party back up service.App caused a flood of duplicate contacts in my phone.

11. It's a basic app but, that's exactly what you want in cloud storage.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Verizon Cloud Issues

1. Fix Verizon Cloud Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Verizon Cloud: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Verizon Cloud App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Verizon Cloud" » Open Verizon Cloud » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Verizon Cloud » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Verizon Cloud app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Verizon Cloud servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Verizon Cloud" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Verizon Cloud app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Verizon Cloud might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Verizon Cloud. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Verizon Cloud then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Verizon Cloud not working


2. Fix Verizon Cloud Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Verizon Cloud be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Verizon Cloud not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Verizon Cloud may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Please cancel my 2 subscriptions for Verizon Cloud. I can't login to it. My phone number is 479-263-6578.
