Digital Detox Customer Insights
1. We shouldn't get rid of why we need phone now in the first place.does what it claims, but it takes time to launch whitelisted apps (phone, messages, maps, and clock for me).
2. The only significant problem I've run into is this... When I make a call and i end up in a phone tree or an answering service that requires touchtone input, the app is blocking that keypad screen as soon add the call connects.
3. And it was (good) hard to go to sleep last night without scrolling through the million things I wanted to do on my phone.I'm pretty in love with this app! It makes it really easy for me to customize my experience so I can get done what I need without distractions.
4. I am looking for a more permanent solution that doesn't slow down operation of the phone, that only allows specific apps to run.
5. In the midst of that, I tried to turn my phone off at the very least (couldn't see screen), & ended up making 2 false emergency calls.
6. It had made it impossible to turn off alarm and pick up phone calls from important people.
7. While detoxing is important, most people also need their phone to accomplish the basic things necessary.
8. I set it for five hours.I long pressed the app with the quick 8 min detox, thinking I could edit the apps I wanted to detox from.
9. A lot of system apps don't work properly unless the app is selected, but the settings functions aren't something I want cluttering up my home page.
10. For instance, today it wont let me adjust my media volume, it has completely shut me off from hearing anything besides my alarms and phone calls coming in.
11. I started with the 15 minute challenge and after it restarted itself for the fourth time I did an emergency exit and deleted the app... (Edited for length)...Not trying to be a jerk here but so far it's not useable.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Digital Detox Issues
1. Fix Digital Detox Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Digital Detox: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Digital Detox App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Digital Detox" » Open Digital Detox: Focus & Live » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Digital Detox » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Digital Detox: Focus & Live app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Digital Detox servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Digital Detox: Focus & Live" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Digital Detox app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Digital Detox might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Digital Detox. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Digital Detox then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Digital Detox not working
2. Fix Digital Detox Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Digital Detox be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Digital Detox not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Digital Detox may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

My nephew has actually by mistake used your app- digital detox and have actually locked my phone for 4 HOURS !!! Now I cant do anything. I tried quitting but no apps have been whitelisted so cant actually proper use it to quit NOR emergency exit button comes up. Please help me .
