About Tookan Agent

Tookan Agent Customer Insights

1. It would be good to be able to check on the tasks during delivery since there are things to be noted are only showing on the "pickup" task.Sort of ok,simple things wrong,the back buttons way too small,new tasks and reminders has the same sound,the fail button is to close to the bottom ,the fonts too small on tasks,to hard to navigate back to task menu while driving,,be good if they had the number of items to pick up in the first window rather than having to dig through the menu and count them,but the worst will be been in map mode and the notification goes off and you pull over think it a new job to swipe and its only a reminder.The app does not recognise Google maps is installed.

2. It alerts 3-5min AFTER I accept & am using navigation to get there & the ONLY way to turn it off is leave the map & lose navigation so I have to listen to the OBNOXIOUS ringing the WHOLE drive! Awful! & it enters the WRONG address on Maps! Twice in the 2 days I've used it it brought me to neighbors house!! Bad!!! My employer uses it so I have no choice, unfortunatelyUsing this app for two years, (not by choice, my work place uses it) , it's never been great, continually stops my tracking and having to reboot it every couple of hours; yes I have the correct settings on my phone.

3. The app is totally uselessI have been using Tookan for almost 12 months now and I don't understand why they have a calendar view and not a recent tasks view (i.e. last 6,12, or 24 hours).

4. I gave had both the beta and that regular tookan agent installed and both fail to recognise Google maps as being installed.

5. If a task comes at 12:00 am, the agent must know that he/she needs to update the calendar view to view the task.

6. Still waiting for response to an email from weeks ago.WHY does it start alerting me when I'm ALREADY in a delivery?? I contacted the employer & they didn't send me any new orders.

7. Also, after successful pick up, the task pick up task goes missing until the delivery is completed.

8. It's poor interface with small buttons and same sound alerts for every notification isn't great either.Only used this app for 2 days.

9. There is no indication that the task is in the next day's calendar view.

10. Save your yourself a lot of trouble and never click the directions button because it will give you an approximation of the location you are looking for wasting a ton of your time.

11. Many thanks.application not open many times & open time lot's of bufferingI recently downloaded this app just to find out the app doesn't even work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Tookan Agent Issues

1. Fix Tookan Agent Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Tookan Agent: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Tookan Agent App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tookan Agent" » Open Tookan Agent » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tookan Agent » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Tookan Agent app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tookan Agent servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tookan Agent" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Tookan Agent app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tookan Agent might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Tookan Agent. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tookan Agent then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tookan Agent not working


2. Fix Tookan Agent Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tookan Agent be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tookan Agent not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tookan Agent may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
