Good example of how not to do things.The app insisted that I scan the QR code on the device body and it does not have a QR code only a barcode and it doesn't provide an option to move forward to use the app without registering the device and that is the only option provided so the app is worthlessI have bought many cameras, this one is good, records motion events and is easy to understand.I can not do playback i have a iphone and a galaxy the iphone keeps saying it is migrating but never does..the galaxy i tried to download a different app to do play back it keeps asking for a qr code i dont haveCan't even register product.

1. Fix SmartCam Lite Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SmartCam Lite: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SmartCam Lite App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SmartCam Lite" » Open SmartCam Lite » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SmartCam Lite » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SmartCam Lite app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SmartCam Lite servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SmartCam Lite" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SmartCam Lite app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SmartCam Lite might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SmartCam Lite. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SmartCam Lite then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SmartCam Lite not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SmartCam Lite be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SmartCam Lite not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SmartCam Lite may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
