1. i can't view my next weekend schedule or view any other options...Very useful application that has a great support team to call for questions about how to use it!It's easy to usethis app would be great if you added a manager log.Someone suggested I sign up for work and it automatically wants log in Info and a restaurant.???I like that my managers and employees each have tools they can use to update their availability, see their current schedule and even send messages right from their phones.

2. Messaging is useful for finding people to cover shifts but management has to do our trades in store since the app doesn't work.Makes swapping shifts easy and I can also give up shifts to have someone cover.it closes every tine i try to use the menu.

3. Shift covering or swapping does not work, nobody in our store can get it to work and it's been this way since we started using it (several months ago).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SMART Shift Issues

1. Fix SMART Shift Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SMART Shift: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SMART Shift App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SMART Shift" » Open SMART Shift » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SMART Shift » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SMART Shift app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SMART Shift servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SMART Shift" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SMART Shift app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SMART Shift might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SMART Shift. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SMART Shift then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SMART Shift not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SMART Shift be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
