Shyft Customer Insights

1. i really need a functioning schedule to be able to work, multiple other people in my workplace are having this problem and its frustrating to refer to other people for infoNew Update has made me unable to post images of our work schedule.

2. Filters, handy while functioning properly, also seem to have a mind of their own; I can't even change who may see my schedule, nor see my own pick up shift requests.When it works, it's great! But for the past 3 weeks everyone in my store has been having trouble loading th calendar and all of the requests! It just sits there and "thinks" never actually loading.

3. This is the second time it has happened.It is tremendously helpful to have one flexible but closed network for communicating and schedule alterations while not on site for our shift work.

4. Also I can't unblock notifications everytime I turn on the notifications it keeps turning off on me, hoping this issue gets resolved.The app suddenly has the notifications blocked and I can't figure out how to turn them back on.

5. Do not get it.The app will work great for a while, but suddenly will stop sending notifications.

6. On an s23+this app was pretty ok at showing me my shifts and letting me communicate with my work but now it has stopped working entirely.

7. When it's working, the app is great! ❣️ I've been able to get shifts that open up and cover for colleagues.

8. it works just fine when its a new download and i sign in, but the moment it tries loading shifts or updates it crashes.

9. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling and nothing has work d so far....hopefully this g ts fixed soon, because as of now it's close to useless....will update if fixedWell this app used to work good.

10. Unfortunately, sometimes my app is glitchy and doesn't send notifications promptly, so I miss opportunities because someone else gets there first.

11. I have to close the app and reopen to get the latest information rather than leave it open in the background while waiting for someone to post.3.0 is terrible.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Shyft Issues

1. Fix Shyft Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Shyft: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Shyft App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Shyft" » Open Shyft - Shift Swap, Schedule, » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Shyft » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Shyft - Shift Swap, Schedule, app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Shyft servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Shyft - Shift Swap, Schedule, " » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Shyft app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Shyft might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Shyft. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Shyft then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Shyft not working


2. Fix Shyft Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Shyft be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Shyft not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Shyft may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
