ShiftMed Customer Insights

1. Very limitedI love it! Clock in on the app and showed your pay at the end of the shift! Getting paid every other day is great!! But sometimes app won't let to clock in for hours and nobody call back fast enough to assist with the issue.

2. New personnel changed attendance criteria, proceeded to count dropped shifts that were in no violation of old attendance policy (shifts dropped well in advance) against people.

3. It's easy to book shifts and no problem getting in touch with them if you have a problem .. they will stay on the phone with you until your issue is resolved.

4. Mostly on the weekends.It's hard to get shifts when you just started, and every facility has a high show rate, and u can't claim no shifts in the DFW and their surrounding cities.

5. Can't work before you clock in...this is why one star down!Barely ever any shifts available.

6. After shifts were accepted proceeded to say there was no uber set up in area, resulting in no transportation to shifts .

7. Communication and processing makes the company seem untrustworthy.The app is amazing but the facilities is a different story.

8. Still trying to give them a chance but they aren't worth it.Wish I would have read the reviews before submitting my LIFE story to use their platform.

9. I am on my Second shift and it has been amazing I clam a shift clock in and clock out.

10. Terrible customer service!!! The bot tells me I have to call someone to finish onboarding... I have waited on hold for hours with no one answering.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ShiftMed Issues

1. Fix ShiftMed Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ShiftMed: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ShiftMed App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ShiftMed" » Open ShiftMed - Nursing Jobs App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ShiftMed » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ShiftMed - Nursing Jobs App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ShiftMed servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ShiftMed - Nursing Jobs App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ShiftMed app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ShiftMed might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ShiftMed. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ShiftMed then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ShiftMed not working


2. Fix ShiftMed Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ShiftMed be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ShiftMed not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ShiftMed may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi. By mistake I logged in to my husband account and signed all the documents without checking who’s account was opened and signed all the documents as a new user and entered my details.
    How can I disregard the documents and make a new account instead and delete the documents I signed in his account?
    Please advice.
