1. I'll do the security check and it will still send out saftey check messages, I've also had it where I finished showing a home and even after I concluded the walkthrough and closed it all out it kept saying I didn't check in and sending out safety messages...that's super annoying and worrisome for your contacts.As of right now, I downloaded the new version of the Sentri key up here and it's been so glitchy that it's been embarrassing in front of clients when I can't get lock boxes open.

2. Putting this here, in hopes that it helps others, because IT support isn't terribly supportive.Sentra boxes have become a nightmare! Box does not always open! or only opens a tad bit & not enough to retrieve key! CS helped, then afterwards problem persisted! Card generates same bad results.

3. To get it to start working again, I had to delete all cached memory, passwords, delete the app, restart the phone, put it in airplane mode for 5 minutes, then give internet access back, download the app, open it and was finally allowed to enter the login information.

4. Give it up!!! Not all cutting edge tech is worthwhile.It works fairly well when it works but lately (last two weeks) it's been giving me the same message ("Offline properties") everytime I've tried to open lockboxes.

5. Need the card to work as well as the app, for backup!!! Too many problems, and it's way to stressful too have these issues in front of clients.This mobile app is horrible.

6. Trying to navigate this without being on a computer it's almost impossible unless your primary goal is to give access codes.

7. Please get rid of this garbage app.I've had countless times where I was stranded at a lockbox because it wouldn't open the box.

8. The way in which the dashboard is laid out is once again unless you are on a computer the mobile app just is poorly designed.App works when it wants to, which isn't very often.

9. In trying to create a one-day code the year space does not show completely and cannot be edited.

10. Looking at access logs, the screen text is cut off on the top and bottom.

11. Disappointing.Automatically updated after I used a lockbox, and then the app wouldn't work at all.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SentriKey Real Estate Issues

1. Fix SentriKey Real Estate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SentriKey Real Estate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SentriKey Real Estate App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SentriKey Real Estate" » Open SentriKey Real Estate » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SentriKey Real Estate » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SentriKey Real Estate app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SentriKey Real Estate servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SentriKey Real Estate" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SentriKey Real Estate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SentriKey Real Estate might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SentriKey Real Estate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SentriKey Real Estate then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SentriKey Real Estate not working


2. Fix SentriKey Real Estate Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SentriKey Real Estate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SentriKey Real Estate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SentriKey Real Estate may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
