Sense Messaging Customer Insights

1. For as much money companies pay for Sense, you wouldn't think the app would be practically useless.I just moved this app from an iPhone and have found the Android app needs to be enhanced, particularly being able to access settings.

2. It's a business tool app users need to be able to update w/o going into the browser extension.I no longer receive notifications from this app.

3. Nothing has worked.Every time I open to read a message it just sits on a white screen and I have to close and wait for it to load.

4. My company uses this app and I'm stuck with it and not happy!!!I gotta move this from a five star to 2.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Sense Messaging Issues

1. Fix Sense Messaging Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Sense Messaging: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Sense Messaging App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sense Messaging" » Open Sense Messaging » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sense Messaging » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Sense Messaging app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sense Messaging servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sense Messaging" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Sense Messaging app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sense Messaging might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sense Messaging. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sense Messaging then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sense Messaging not working


2. Fix Sense Messaging Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sense Messaging be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sense Messaging not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sense Messaging may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
