1. I found that I was short about an hour of sleep a night and was able to make up the gap with tips from the app.Was recommended by a friend and I do like the concept of it, however the app itself doesn't seem to work properly on my phone (pixel 2) - it doesn't track my sleep so I have to input manually, and it keeps running into an error page.
2. Notifications don't work despite the inelegant hack of a persistent (and expanded!) notification (which seems unnecessary w/ Fitbit connect) taking up the top of your notification panel, the habits section disappears if you swipe down with no way to bring back w/o reopening, the back button not working.
3. Too many apps on the subscription model and want so much of your money right away.Unfortunately, I realized that this hadn't free functionality, a big no for me, I'm not going to spend 60 dollars a year regardless if they give me a 1 week free trail, issues might start popping up, bugs, some people hear loud noises from the monitors.
4. Also now the screen is glitching om the energy menu so that the habits menu won't hide and blocks my energy schedule.Fitbit connect and sleep debt insights are worth it.
5. It's a bit too spendy for the quality of the app, the content is worth it for the most part to start with, however over time I can see it losing it's value as you learn how to calculate all thisI really wanted this app to work but there are just too many bugs on the android version.
6. I suspect this app is great - if you in the US, on Apple - but the Android version needs a lot of work.It definitely has potential.
7. Yeah, there's moments of UI jank (chief among them the fact that you can't use your phone's back button to back out of a screen), but the energy curve visual and the notifications have quickly become indispensable.
8. A one week trial is not enough to understand how effective an app is; I sure wasn't going to sign up for a year especially since other reviews expressed how wonky the app could be.
9. It has great information and great way to track and improve your sleep and quality of life, but the app itself needs improvement.
10. Nice try though, it seems to have really great potential, but not for penny pinchers.Too costly and too short of a trial to know the benefits.
11. If the trial was a month, and the subscription was on a monthly basis where (like Personal Zen and other apps and not gym contracts), I may have stuck around longer.
Please cancel my subscription. There was no way to contact except this route.
Hi,
I’ve sent three detailed messages along with screenshots through the Rise in-app message center over the span of two days. According to the app, my messages haven’t even been read yet. I need technical support, as the widget is not working on my iPhone. I’ve re-installed it, restarted the app, restarted my phone and the widget is still not working. It has been saying calculating for two days. I’m not receiving notifications or texts about dips, peaks and habits. The app wasn’t reading my sleep info from Apple Health when I first contacted you but now it is. While that’s good, the sleep debt hasn’t calculated nor my energy potential. For example, I only slept two hours last night and it’s still showing the same dips and peaks as it did for yesterday. Can someone please assist me?
Hi. I had meant to cancel my subscription before I would be charged but forgot to do so. Would I be able to cancel the subscription and possibly get a refund?
Hi,
I downloaded Rise for the seven day free trial. I cancelled it before the 7th day was up and I was charged $60 for afull year subscription. I do not wish to keep the app for a full year and was wondering if I could have a return of the funds as I cancelled the subscription on the 7th day.
Thank you for taking the time to read my email!!

Dear Rise Team,
I have two issues at the moment with the app:
issue 1:
The app did not add sleep data for saturday and sunday. however, trying to add the data by hand did not work. I can click save the data, however, it does not add the data.
issue 2:
due to issue 1, I thought maybe logging out and back in could solve the problem. However, now that I logged out, I cannot login anymore. I get the email with the special link, click on it within my phone, however, then the link just opens the rise app, but does not log me back in. So I am stuck at the 'login' screen of rise.
Otherwise I greatly enjoyed the app in the last few weeks and would like to keep on using the app.
All the best,
Mario
