Redtail CRM Customer Insights

1. In calendar mode, I can see a contact but I'm unable to open the contact details unless I switch to contacts and search.Lately while driving to meetings, it's "unable to fetch activites", not good when you use this as your calendar and contact list when not in the office.

2. You can't for example see family balances so if a husband and wife have a joint account you can only see the primary account holder and it looks like the joint person has a zero balance.Such an improvement over previous version.

3. Even when it does show the calendar for today, it's not showing what is actually scheduled today, but what is scheduled the next business day.

4. Functionality is also limited but would be good enough if it actually worked.It's come a long way, baby! Very impressed with the additional functionality.

5. Very stable for viewing calendar, contacts, but still needs work.

6. When I go to calendar, screen goes white.

7. I have a Galaxy S7 and the app doesn't notify me, the options and customization are limited.

8. The other issue is, while setting up a meeting, it shuts down in the middle and I have to restart the app.

9. So I can no longer use to set up anything new.After the last update, I have a new "feature", the white screen of death.

10. If you don't see scheduled appts, sometimes it is a setting that is set for someone else to view.

11. Please fix this!App is disappointing, seems very buggy, often have trouble logging in even with correct password and un.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Redtail CRM Issues

1. Fix Redtail CRM Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Redtail CRM: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Redtail CRM App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Redtail CRM" » Open Redtail CRM » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Redtail CRM » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Redtail CRM app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Redtail CRM servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Redtail CRM" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Redtail CRM app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Redtail CRM might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Redtail CRM. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Redtail CRM then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Redtail CRM not working


2. Fix Redtail CRM Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Redtail CRM be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Redtail CRM not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Redtail CRM may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
