HoneyBook Customer Insights

1. I love my desktop version, but 92% of the time, I'm working remotely and cannot access my desktop version.

2. I needed to get the address to a venue today and couldn't open my file to find it.Its missing feature for example adding expenses to a file can only be done on the desktop.

3. Would be better if you can move the tool box and button screen buttons around on the page so you can better access other sections that are placed at the bottom of the page.I've had honeybook for years and love it, and the app was amazing and much needed.

4. Every time I am on the road and need to use this app it runs incredibly slow and crashes every.single.time I try to attach a file or send an invoice.

5. The desktop version is good, but often takes time to load which is annoying.

6. We all know in our industry time is huge so not being able to get to my clients asap, or send brochures, etc when I'm not at my computer is frustrating.

7. I need this app to AT THE VERY LEAST hit send on brochures, questionnaires, packages, etc of templates I have already created on the desktop site.

8. The app will work fine for a period of time, but then, especially on the invoices, it will only allow me to add 2 items.

9. Buuutt there is one very annoying bug, for some reason I am only able to search one proposal at a time.

10. Works once, then have to close the app, open once more, search again to open another file.The app (for android anyway) is one of the worst i use.

11. The info on the side of the portal on a desktop is hard to access and not organized in a way that makes sense.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HoneyBook Issues

1. Fix HoneyBook Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HoneyBook: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HoneyBook App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HoneyBook" » Open HoneyBook - Small Business CRM » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HoneyBook » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HoneyBook - Small Business CRM app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HoneyBook servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HoneyBook - Small Business CRM" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HoneyBook app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HoneyBook might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HoneyBook. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HoneyBook then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HoneyBook not working


2. Fix HoneyBook Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HoneyBook be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HoneyBook not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HoneyBook may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
