11. HuffingtonPost: "Beat the pollution with the Plume Air app".
1. Data appears to correlate reasonably well with Airnow.gov. I've tried other apps like Air Visual that don't appear to correlate with anything and give nonsensical readings.
2. You need to have more options when programing locations and there needs to be a setting where you can input your health information and set it up so the app will alert the air quality.2020.08 update.
3. Appears to waste a lot of space (may be different for someone with larger font setting on their phone, my font is set to extra small, so there's a lot of dead space).
4. Your phone probably doesn't know. It's a useful app, but I do question the accuracy of its live data.
5. I'm in the middle of the California wildfires, and I've seen this app read much lower than Airnow, only to retroactively update its historical readings.
6. It behaves as if it is providing fake numbers or the data lags hours.
7. Anyone using this app to plan outdoor activities is either getting good data or rubbish.
8. But seriously, what's with the big stupid ugly cartoon head taking up half the widget real estate?I can't attest to the accuracy, based on what I see published elsewhere, it's not "wrong".
9. We are, right now, experiencing hazardous air quality as measured by dozens of open-data air monitors in this town, and your app said, "moderate" pollution, and recommended exercise outdoors.
10. They bring up nothing. This app was installed on two of my phones, using different accounts names.
11. And when this happens, it's always that the live reading is low! This is very frustrating and dangerous if the app is consistently on the low side.
