3. Thanks!This app seemed to work well and some time after, I upgraded with a paid subscription since I've had issues in the past and present with my phone being hacked.

4. It does interfere with my regular functions on my phone and having to shut off the app every time I want to look something up on Google is time consuming.

7. My point is the apps it shows accessed my mic and camera don't show up in the blocking options' list of apps.

11. Sadly, it's also a MASSIVE power hog! "Settings: Battery Usage" says THIS APP drained my battery in LESS THAN 7 HRS (full chg lasted 31 hrs prior to app install).

1. Fix Privacy Defender Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Privacy Defender: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Privacy Defender App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Privacy Defender" » Open Privacy Defender - Security » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Privacy Defender » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Privacy Defender - Security app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Privacy Defender servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Privacy Defender - Security" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Privacy Defender app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Privacy Defender might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Privacy Defender. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Privacy Defender then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Privacy Defender not working

2. Fix Privacy Defender Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Privacy Defender be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Privacy Defender not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Privacy Defender may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
