Autodesk Construction Cloud Customer Insights

1. Their support tech told me I needed to disable mobile data for my entire phone while using the app, which of course, cripples the phone.

2. I pointed out that many, many other apps have options to enable/disable uploading/downloading data over mobile data or only when connected to WiFi.

3. While on site, I turned off mobile data on my phone.

4. No update available, this is unacceptable when this app wants to become a major need on a jobsite it must be always accessibleApp changed to a completely different company name on my Android phone.

5. Then, I had to make sure that the OS setting for using mobile data in the background for this particular app was turned off.

6. There is no way in the app to prevent it from uploading data and pictures over mobile data.

7. I then closed the app before turning mobile data back on so I could check my messages and use the map for traffic conditions.

8. Not everyone has unlimited mobile data (including me).

9. Just allow people to put dots at each corner and everything connects together just like fieldwire does or plan grid had.

10. Only 4 stars.Every time someone on my project takes a picture within the app, PlanGrid syncs it to my phone's Gallery.

11. So why only 2 stars after reading that? Simple -- it assumes you have unlimited data.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Autodesk Construction Cloud Issues

1. Fix Autodesk Construction Cloud Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Autodesk Construction Cloud: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Autodesk Construction Cloud App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Autodesk Construction Cloud" » Open Autodesk Construction Cloud » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Autodesk Construction Cloud » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Autodesk Construction Cloud app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Autodesk Construction Cloud servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Autodesk Construction Cloud" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Autodesk Construction Cloud app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Autodesk Construction Cloud might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Autodesk Construction Cloud. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Autodesk Construction Cloud then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Autodesk Construction Cloud not working
