Why should I report an Issue with 3M™ Treatment Tracking?

1. 3M Treatment Tracking is a tool to support compliance with aligner treatment.

1. This may be a small complaint, but knowing it will never say 100% makes me sad 😭😂 please make editing a thing!I've been taking weekly photos since I started wearing my aligners this Jan 2021.

2. So all of my March and April pics are gone!! Why did it only save my Feb and Jan pics??? And trying to edit the amount of time I wear my aligners on the stats graph is far from accurate.

3. Good things: looks nice, easy to interpret the wear stats screen, messagingThe app was good until it deleted the first 2 whole weeks of my data and wiped everything based on my age.

4. It deleted everything after I tried to set up backup/ connect to my Provider without even confirming the birthdate before deleting my uploaded pictures and everything.Wear times register inaccurately, and the app doesn't allow for editing times.

5. The only time you can indicate tooth brushing is when you toggle the in/out button, and if you accidentally hit that button you cannot go back and say you did or did not brush your teeth.

6. What makes this bad is that I have a 100% "brush before wearing" track record, but my stats say that I didn't brush one time.

7. The progress photos don't use the settings - I have it set for monthly or weekly but get reminders daily still.I'm glad this app is available, and I'm satisfied with its functionality.

8. I like the features it has, like the daily stats, brushing tracking, and progress photos.

9. Cannot access anything including all orogress photos 7th week no longer working uselessLocks up.

10. Changing aligners is buried in settings and doesn't update automatically or prompt you.

11. Unfortunately, it has some kinks that make it a little less user friendly than I hoped - it does lag more than a simple app should, and the ability to edit / view past days is absent.

1. Fix 3M Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart 3M: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the 3M App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "3M" » Open 3M™ Treatment Tracking » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 3M » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear 3M™ Treatment Tracking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 3M servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "3M™ Treatment Tracking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check 3M app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 3M might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall 3M. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 3M then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 3M not working

2. Fix 3M Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 3M be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 3M not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 3M may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
