Why should I report an Issue with Messages - Text sms & mms?

Why can't they go to some better job?This app sucks says can't send messages unless you set it as default and when you push the button to set it as your default it does nothing tried setting as my default 20 times uninstalling now because it won't set up as my defaultthis app is absolutely USELESS.. it is FULL OF ADS that are overwhelming and render the app useless (on Pixelbook).

2. I am giving this a 2 out of 5 because you used to be able to send scheduled messages, which my husband and I both used often so we didn't forget to ask/remind someone but at an appropriate time.

3. I think I'll try Messenger instead.Nice app but dark mode need to be more darker (black) and there is no option for message forwarding and it does not allow me to add some pictures emoji.

4. Please fix thatAre you serious? Ads for a texting app? What could be worse, iMessage having a monthly membership of $4.99 uNlEsS i GeT tHe PrEmIuM pAcKaGe? Man, it looked fine with an ad at the bottom, until i had to wait 30 seconds for an ad to go away so i try and text.

10. Save yourself a headache.This app literally sucks, I took the benefit of the doubt, but you can not click or do anything without an ad popping up for Messenger.

1. Fix Messages Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Messages: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Messages App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Messages" » Open Messages - Text sms & mms » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Messages » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Messages - Text sms & mms app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Messages servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Messages - Text sms & mms" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Messages app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Messages might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Messages. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Messages then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Messages not working

2. Fix Messages Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Messages be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Messages not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Messages may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
