In Customer Insights

1. Last night (the first time I had activated this app), just as I'm falling asleep, the watch gives off a very loud buzz/notification because my turning over in my bed had taken the watch out of range of my phone.

2. While testing with a Huawei P30 and a Ticwatch Pro 4G: * the notifications can sometimes be delayed and while they appear as standard in the notification panel in the watch, they might take some seconds or even minutes to come to the informer app.

3. Ads are not too intrusive but I didn't like nag screen that appears on watch in non-premium version every time phone is switched on.

4. * testing the premium feature of the WhatsApp call, it doesn't work if the watch is using the lte connectivity.

5. Thanks anyway though!Tried only briefly, because it didn't respect sleep mode: My watch is set to go into sleep/DND mode every night.

6. Anytime it disconnected from my phone it set off an alarm no matter what time of the day or night, even on sleep mode or do not disturb mode.

7. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS Update: I had to reset my watch to get Samsung notifications back.

8. * the delete function on the watch sometimes takes multiple actions before deleting the notifications.

9. It works only with the bluetooth if the watch is connected to the phone.

10. Had I left it, it would have made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep! Had to turn my watch off for the night.

11. I can answer whatsapp messages with voice but they a link to open and play in an extern player.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix In Issues

1. Fix In Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart In: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the In App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "In" » Open Informer: messages for Wear OS » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for In » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Informer: messages for Wear OS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from In servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Informer: messages for Wear OS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check In app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, In might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall In. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall In then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing In not working


2. Fix In Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make In be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to In not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, In may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
