Why should I report an Issue with Paychex Time?

1. Why can't the program just cache the punch an apply it when the data or location come back up? I've missed so many punches from this I have been reprimanded at work and have to use the website....that doesn't work on mobile devices....Absolutely hate this app.

2. The location tracking is horrible and not accurate, program will tell you that you need to be connected to internet or have GPS on even when they are to clock in/out.

3. I have gotten in trouble for not clocking in/out at work when the app has said that it made the punch.

4. I prefer to use my laptop, but for a quick punch in and out it's great and convenient.Clocking in only works about half the time.

5. Nothing less , nothing No app crashes unlike it's more in-depth version , Paychex Flex (constantly crashes on Android products).Some of the functions available on my laptop are not available on the phone and/or it's a little more difficult to navigate/find.

6. App will glitch with these issues and not work if you try to turn it off and try again it signs you out and 90% of the time if you try to sign back in it will give you an error in signing in message.

7. You can't sign in and out becaue your phone dies at the last minute they want to text you, now you're in trouble for not clocking in or out.

8. Can have location GPS on, and it will not let you punch in/out because it "thinks" you dont have your location GPS on.

9. You can have full strength signal and it will not let you punch in/out because it "thinks" you have your data off.

10. All of a sudden it wasn't compatible with my phone anymore and made me update to a version that you can only clock in and out on.

11. I have been trying to talk my boss into using a different app cause I hate this so much.Horrible..... the app is slow i always have to clear the app out.

1. Fix Paychex Time Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Paychex Time: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Paychex Time App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Paychex Time" » Open Paychex Time » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Paychex Time » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Paychex Time app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Paychex Time servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Paychex Time" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Paychex Time app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Paychex Time might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Paychex Time. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Paychex Time then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Paychex Time not working

2. Fix Paychex Time Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Paychex Time be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Paychex Time not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Paychex Time may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
