WeatherTRAK Customer Insights

1. When it connects it works fine, BUT when it connects.Sure would be nice if the app would work for at least 2 weeks without major problems!!!!!!!!! So 90% of the time major problems 10% of the time it works!!!! Need I say more.......Terrible app that constantly crashes, stalls, and doesn't recognize passwords.

2. I hate explaining to them why I spent so much time on something that works only half the time.If I could give it a -10 I would just because to many people use it, and its ALWAYS trying to connect to the server.

3. It helps me preform my job much more efficientlySaves time and is a huge asset if used rightBest Data.

4. We as users, company owners, technicians DO NOT have time for this kind of nonsense.

5. All the hours I spent making GPS coordinates for a large supercenter hardly show up when I hit "view" on any of our phones.

6. Nearly useless.Recent update is unusable, freezes constantly, its absolute garbage! 10/1/2020This is a great app.

7. More often than not when I try running a station I get the please wait message and it sits there forever as if it's loading.Fix your bugs.

8. And it's not due to cell reception because it does it even when u have great reception.

9. When it works, it is an amazing app.

10. Super easy to navigate and you can do so much straight from the app.

11. The bad part is that more often than not you can't even run a station.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix WeatherTRAK Issues

1. Fix WeatherTRAK Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart WeatherTRAK: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the WeatherTRAK App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WeatherTRAK" » Open WeatherTRAK Mobile 3 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WeatherTRAK » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear WeatherTRAK Mobile 3 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WeatherTRAK servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WeatherTRAK Mobile 3" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check WeatherTRAK app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WeatherTRAK might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall WeatherTRAK. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WeatherTRAK then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WeatherTRAK not working


2. Fix WeatherTRAK Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WeatherTRAK be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WeatherTRAK not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WeatherTRAK may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
