1. If you want customizable background sound to go to sleep or to relieve tinnitus in a quiet setting this one will be great for you.Not sure if this app is still in development or abandoned (not updated in 2 years), but with Android Oreo/Pie, the volume of the sounds jump up and down every couple minutes.
2. Not sure if the owner/operator sold the app to another person, but since Lightningbug changed to Ambio - it appears my sound packs and the quality updates stopped being made.
3. Goes to show ya, digital apps, you never REALLY own them - and they are practically worthless if you try relying to improve your quality of life.I've been using this app to fall asleep for years.
4. You can adjust the relative levels of each sound and set random repeats of incidentals, like a lone wolf howl or a distant trail whistle.I had this app when it was lightning bug and then Ambio.
5. I'd been getting very frustrated with finding apps for background noise, because I could *ALWAYS* discern the loops, and the repetitiveness would actually make it HARDER to sleep.
6. Unfortunately if I want to change one of the sound's volume, all of the sounds will be reset and I have to spend time resetting them all over again.
7. That said, in recent android updates, it seems to be having trouble playing nice with bluetooth (especially my brand new Kove Commuter).
8. This makes it hard to go to sleep since it's not a consistent sound. This is the best sleep sound app I have found.
9. It's been an absolute godsend, and in all these years of using it, I haven't been able to detect a single loop.
10. I had Lightning Bug, a plug in, & downloaded both so I have sounds in Ambio.
11. The versatility that this program gives you for building your optimal sleep noise environment is unparalleled.
