Google Pinyin Input Customer Insights

1. Small change, big difference.Yes, there is no doubt that this is the best pinyin keyboard, but I still wish you guys can upgrade it soon, and bring the good feature from gboard! The reason I dont want to switch to Gboard is gboard seens not very friendly to Chinese, maybe it just hard to focus on each language typing experiment.

2. Many names such as those in Traditional Chinese have a mixture of both simplified & traditional characters which is not possible at all if you input the pinyin of the name but get the wrong traditional version with no options to choose the simplified forms or add the correct words to the dictionary.

3. Compare to the old Gboard, this is a huge difference in user experience. The keyboard doesn't allow you to type the tones symbols (ā, á, ǎ, à) without having characters already typed, which is frustrating and upsetting.

4. Please fix this, it has definitely affected my user experience.Great keyboard! It's one of the very few keyboards that allow you to do a swipe input of both English and Chinese pinyin together.

5. The other suggestion would be to allow the option to switch the tab order of the language tabs.Overall this app is fine but the Chinese input of this app has a few things to improve of which are rather disappointing.

6. It's kinda annoying to click twice on the board to get one sing.is fine , but it can be lot better , for example If is possible to make the input more intelligent by automatically recognized each app perfer input language , that way the user don't have to change the input language Everytime .

7. It is really frustrating to have to open the settings everytime you want to write something, which ultimately made me uninstall the app.I've been using this for four years and it's still great! I really love that I can switch between two languages when I chat with multiple friends from different races.

8. The app itself works just fine, it supports glide typing, both traditional and simplified characters and keeps adding frequently used words to your dictionary.

9. The G-board Chinese keyboard is so unfriendly with a shorter space bar and a need to long press or create another button that shorten the space bar to toggle it.

10. The AI doesn't remember the frequent words I use, so i have to type out the entire city name every single time!!!!! And it also seem to be a lot prone to mis-spell, just feel like the key board is off.

11. I really hope there would be amother update soon to address many issues users are experiencing especially regarding the dictionary & etc. This is the best chinese keyboard I've ever used.
