1. Other solutions at least give you the option to periodically backup to the cloud - I'm just blown away that this isn't a capability for this app.I've been reading that Google Pixel phones are coming up as not being eligible for the new update for some reason.

I mean, sure it's great that I can now rename and change the order of all of my accounts, but I have a huge problem with remembering numbers and now that one basic accessibility option is no longer available and it can take two or three tries and retries for me to get it right! 3. I'm pretty close to removing this nowMy previous Android phone randomly died one day and wouldn't turn back on, so I lost my account and any way to log in to multiple apps.
4. Is this true and if so will it be? - Still, even now with the pixel 6, and the generations of phones that came before it, there is still no cloud backup for this app?! I almost made the mistake of NOT exporting my codes.
5. Also needs the ability to transfer to other platforms.The authentication works, but the user interface clearly had zero thought put into it whatsoever.
6. My apple devices on the other hand do have the syncing capability.
7. And now it has the same meaningless, indistinguishable icon as every other Google app to make it hard to even find and open.
8. I'm not sure what's going on but I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app multiple times to no avail.Seems to ask for verification at the appropriate moments, and far less burdensome than early systems.
9. Google desperately needs to provide a PIN code or biometric to access.
10. Seems to me some update to the Android system that caused the issue.
11. The way the appears in the play store has the old icon and doesn't have an option to sync but the screenshots show the new version.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Google Authenticator Issues
1. Fix Google Authenticator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Google Authenticator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Google Authenticator App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Google Authenticator" » Open Google Authenticator » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Google Authenticator » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Google Authenticator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Google Authenticator servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Google Authenticator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Google Authenticator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Google Authenticator might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Google Authenticator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Google Authenticator then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Google Authenticator not working
2. Fix Google Authenticator Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Google Authenticator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Google Authenticator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Google Authenticator may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I would like my Google Authenticator account completely deleted because I don’t use it anymore. I also want to delete it because all the 2fa accounts that I had on there were deleted by me.
