4. I would have thought that detail could be shared in a more direct manner.The keyboard estimates what it thinks you are writing and moves on quickly between strokes leaving you with two partially completed characters instead of the one you are trying to write.

5. The default "gesture" for backspace is slide from right to left horizontally, which happens to be a valid stroke in Chinese characters, this becomes quite annoying after I finish writing a sentence only find half of the chars are deleted.This Is One of Googles best.

9. Has un installed and installed the Handwriting input app 5 to 6 times and has sent many messages to the customer team and hasn't received any help.

10. It may have additional settings somewhere but the app is too frustrating to find them.I personally believe that the app is great and has certainly got improved handwriting recognition then most other apps.

1. Fix Google Handwriting Input Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Google Handwriting Input: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Google Handwriting Input App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Google Handwriting Input" » Open Google Handwriting Input » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Google Handwriting Input » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Google Handwriting Input app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Google Handwriting Input servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Google Handwriting Input" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Google Handwriting Input app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Google Handwriting Input might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Google Handwriting Input. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Google Handwriting Input then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Google Handwriting Input not working
