2. But when I was robbed at gunpoint and all my belongings were taken, had it not been for the find my device app the criminal would have gotten away with it, but by tracking my phone the criminal was captured and now in prison.

3. Kind of useless if the device is off or if the battery dies, no one wants to be paranoid waiting hours or days for the device to come back on and be locatable,but does what I need for my clumsy around the house mishaps for devices.Actually, Find My Device's UI isn't intuitive at all.

5. Also the live view of it's maps is YEARS outdated.My husband lost his phone & really thought it was somewhere in our house.

9. Find My Device didn't put us in exactly the right spot at first but after refreshing a couple times, we could see we were in the right spot.

10. So if someone clicked the power button while on the lock screen they could easily be back onto my phone's lock screen.

11. I just wish it wasn't so easy to remove the lock that I had set from another device.

1. Fix Google Find My Device Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Google Find My Device: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Google Find My Device App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Google Find My Device" » Open Google Find My Device » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Google Find My Device » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Google Find My Device app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Google Find My Device servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Google Find My Device" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Google Find My Device app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Google Find My Device might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Google Find My Device. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Google Find My Device then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Google Find My Device not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Google Find My Device be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Google Find My Device not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Google Find My Device may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
