Google Docs Customer Insights

1. Sadly not perfect as I've run into issues I can't correct, even with research and community help, but... This will do everything that MS Word or Apple Pages will do, but with the added benefit of being free on ANY device! (And without the exorbitant price gouging for required hardware of...some...brands... 😉) The only reason I use anything else is because business practices still need to catch up.It was good once upon a time, until a recent update messed with how the app responds to my phone's keyboard.

2. For those that don't know, because many seem to not in the bad reviews, you can change font, size or almost anything about the text, it's just hidden behind a really strange and ambiguous button... For some really strange reason... But considering that Microsoft requires a SUBSCRIPTION PLAN to use all the features in something that is so pointless to pay for that it should be FREE, this is a hundred times better.it has stopped opening large documents (over 100 pages or more) on my mobile phone.

3. I want to like this app, it makes writing whenever I want to easy, but it has too many problems for me to recommend it to anyone.Works well most of the time, often times breaking whenever large documents are opened.

4. Please fix this!!I've been writing my book for about a few years now, and all of a sudden it started having an error where it keeps saying "Google docs isn't responding" even tho the app is still running and it works perfeclty fine.

5. Enjoy the worst writing app.For some INANE REASON, every single time I even try to make a doc longer than 20 pages, it ALWAYS forces me into suggestion mode.

6. Use Microsoft or notes instead.Works great for basic documents, except when working with local files.

7. Mind you the app works, I believe this is a glitch and I want them to fix it immediately this really sucks and hinders my ability to write.

8. However recently one particular document of mine crashed everytime it was.opened and upon updating the app I found that the file was not only gone but not in the trashes or shared files folders of any of the accounts it was shared to.

9. It also makes it harder to switch between apps that have different strengths, because I need to make sure to choose the most recent version from the pile.

10. This has been a problem already, so once so far, I had to use Word on my laptop to compare documents and merge changes from 2 versions.

11. Can be very irritating despite it's mainly text-based natureIts nice to be able to write on the go...when I can! The app keeps constantly crashing on me.
