1. Honestly, well worth the 5 stars! There must be hundreds of apps that list the same system specs -- they all read them from the same place, so they'll all be equally accurate (or rarely, inaccurate) -- but this is the only one I know of that also let's you easily look up other phone models and compare their stats, plus news and some Q&A message boards.
2. My only gripes: you can't compare your own stats with other phones directly unless your phone is listed there + Pixel 6 & Pro aren't listed yet!I mainly like the data speed monitor but every time I restart my phone it does not bring it back up.
3. I am tempted to buy this anyway just because I love the interface.I absolutely love this app! From the latest phone models to related tech articles to the in-depth specs, just a great experience all round.
4. Plus, you can set it to notify you when your total phone storage (including an SD card set as phone storage) gets to a certain percentage (also set by you), versus the Google app that only looked at the phone's internal storage.Love the app.
5. The only gripe I have about this app is the data speed and battery monitor can't seem to stay on when the device sleeps by itself or when the user prompts it to; after unlocking the device I have to pull down the drop down notification page and tap them both to resume the monitoring. This app is MUCH better than the pre-installed Google Files app.
6. Along with links to descriptions of the screen types, RAM, and anything else you might want additional information on when looking for a new phone or comparing phones.
7. In terms of suggestions to improve the app, please make the specs off-line so people can check phone specs while shopping and weigh up their options.
8. I downloaded to keep an eye on RAM use and battery temp, which it does plus much much more.Once again you are rocking the CPU information app world, I can't stay out of your app since its the easiest way to keep up with the different brand and model of phones and SOC, and GPU specifications.
9. I have to go into the app and toggle the option off then back on, and I cannot see the data speeds when it is on because it is white and blends in with the status bar at the top of my phone.
10. In the phones section, add a link in the top right drop down menu for a "go to" option that opens up a webpage to the phones on the manufacturers website (or amazon, gsmarena, google search).
11. Besides phone info it has a tech news tab (love it), forum tab, new gadgets tab.
