Skimmer Pro Customer Insights

1. With the most recent update being the worst, it crashes with every other click you make, whether I'm trying to look up a customer, input a work order, or even rearrange daily routes.

2. If you click off the app or aren't quick enough on selecting your customers you have to start all over.This app was great, but since the new update everytime I go to add a new customer to a route it crashes.

3. Really messing with functionality with the app.Yea what's up with the horrible crashes and bugs with Android phones? Some of us have to use this app for work without a choice.

4. My regular camera doesn't crash my phone when I take a picture so just add an upload photo feature for god's sakes so I can get my work day over with.

5. He basically doesn't believe me.... yall need to fix it.App is created for iPhone and they have no intention of making it work properly on Android.

6. Only touch screen works now for photos, and often the app bugs out now where I cannot click the "Take photo" button at all until I shut down and re-start the app.

7. On pixel 6 it keeps splitting the screen in half with one app (skimmer) on one half and the other app (maps) on the bottom half when I click for directions to the pool I'm going to.

8. Wasting more and more of my time each update.Make the app more compatible with android phones.

9. The newest update meant to fix app stability while using the camera has broken my ability to use my shutter buttons.

10. 4/10/23 Update: Newest update has made this issue happen way more even after consecutive closings and reopenings of the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Skimmer Pro Issues

1. Fix Skimmer Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Skimmer Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Skimmer Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Skimmer Pro" » Open Skimmer Pro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Skimmer Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Skimmer Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Skimmer Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Skimmer Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Skimmer Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Skimmer Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Skimmer Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Skimmer Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Skimmer Pro not working


2. Fix Skimmer Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Skimmer Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Skimmer Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Skimmer Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
