Thank me later 😁I have used this app for years now and anytime I need grid locations and great pictures of locations, using it as a back up nav source when doing refresher land navigation, or even just getting some directional bearing on a super cloudy day this app is my go to! I will never not have it on my phone or my spouses phone.Seems like it could be a good app but the magnetic compass does not work and the company has not responded to two emails asking for help.

2. The magnetic compass does work in other apps on this phone.Compass is frozen.

3. A+ guys, I would be interested if there are more map types available?I've read many reviews where people say that the compass doesn't work sometimes.

4. What else can I do to make the compass work?I tried it and it had no idea where I was.

5. If it had this feature i believe this app would be the only app worth using 100%If you like to track distances, drop pins or check waypoints while walking in the woods this is the best 2 bucks your ever gonna spend.

8. For my purposes as a trainer, it's more efficient than burning through AAA batteries on a Fortrex every day and a half, and it's instantly available as soon as I open the app if I forget to fire it up before I need to call of a grid.

1. Fix Land Nav Assistant Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Land Nav Assistant: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Land Nav Assistant App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Land Nav Assistant" » Open Land Nav Assistant » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Land Nav Assistant » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Land Nav Assistant app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Land Nav Assistant servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Land Nav Assistant" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Land Nav Assistant app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Land Nav Assistant might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Land Nav Assistant. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Land Nav Assistant then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Land Nav Assistant not working

2. Fix Land Nav Assistant Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Land Nav Assistant be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Land Nav Assistant not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Land Nav Assistant may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
