1. For some perspective, I have been a CoPilot fan since the early 2000's when I would use it for work travel and would run it on my laptop, connected to a power inverter, connected to the cigarette lighter plug with the GIANT yellow USB plugged GPS receiver that sat on the dash.
2. Also, I'd also like to see rv friendly gas stations listed.I have an Android head unit and want Navigation I can use without having to turn on my phone hotspot and connect every time.
3. If that's what you're looking for, this is NOT THE APP! You can download maps of North America for offline use, but the search function is a nightmare unless your connected to data for it to search online.
4. Developers refuse to implement simple changes like split screen on android devices after having been enabled.
5. Ive always been able to find the addresses with Google, here maps and sysic maps.
6. The whole point of paying for this app is to help reduce exposure to traffic, or at least minimize travel time despite traffic.
7. You can download maps but, it's less than user friendly if you don't have a data connection.
8. I think there should aslo be an easy option to print the terms, privacy and conditions! Make it as easy as the "accept" option! This is a great app to help you avoid low bridges and tunnels, however, there are a lot of shortcomings.
9. Sometimes it works beautifully and other times it gets stuck and I can't even load an address to plan a trip.
10. Address book is not up to date. It's ok up till it just stops speaking for no reason in the middle of a trip and you pass your exits because of it.
11. While CoPilot does use wifi/data, it is not needed at all! With the downloaded maps, you can still navigate without the use of any data or wifi.
