1. Ability to use route planing is great! It would be nice if one could add new waypoints easier (e.g. dragging current route) and set hiking trails as priority (avoid roads).Great app, but it's really struggling to download maps with a weaker network coverage.

The maps are great though, of course.Offline map are really working randomly, as soon as I want a bigger map, it's seems to freeze at some point, as the download status isn't displayed in percentage, it's difficult to know, but I tried several times and it's stays on more than 1000 min for days.

3. Route recording is very unstable: I couldn't manage to record more than 30 minutes before the app crashed and lost all the recorded data.Some major functions available in the old app missing here.

4. Is missing the quality of the mapsSeems to be working again! Nice one 👍 App isn't working anymore! Always saying missing data! But I have full mobile data coverage.

5. I'm really missing the ability to pause or continue the download from offline maps.

6. Shows bus/train stops, kiosks, huttes, water,... Very big thanks for the developers and the maintainers of the up-to-date, quality maps.

7. By the way, did all the usual android problem solvers but none helped.Looks sleek&shiny, but this sleekness comes with the price that you can't zoom out with only one hand... Kind of unpractical if you're standing somewhere in the Swiss Alps and it's -10°C.

1. Fix swisstopo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart swisstopo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the swisstopo App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "swisstopo" » Open swisstopo » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for swisstopo » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear swisstopo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from swisstopo servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "swisstopo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check swisstopo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, swisstopo might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall swisstopo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall swisstopo then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing swisstopo not working

2. Fix swisstopo Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make swisstopo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to swisstopo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, swisstopo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
