1. Use the Great Western Railway app to plan your next journey and book train tickets with ease.
2. You’ll need to create an online GWR account or sign-in before you can purchase your train tickets.
1. On the main screen, the Ticket type should also be remembered from the last time, otherwise the Find tickets button is just redundant as you click through to edit journey anyway.App basically ok, although some others easier to navigate, but has one annoying flaw.
2. Always logs you out ,when you do put the correct password sais it's wrong try to change password won't let you , you can lose your train by trying to by tickets on this app it's pointless to have it.Redesign very much puts form over function.
3. So cant buy tickets or display ones bought on website until arrive back in UK.. update -it also fails with a "something went wrong" even if you have a non UK registered phone working on a UK network.
4. icons could be a bit bigger as well - when you are rushing to or from work with bags in your hand, it's sometimes hard to press a tiny tick box in the right place.Even though I'm in the UK, it worked for exactly one day before constantly telling me the app only works in the UK and nothing else.
5. Suddenly, I can't plan a journey or buy tickets, because I keep getting a message saying an error has occurred.
6. Then having the Find tickets button in the middle of the main screen is just obnoxious.
7. No amount of deleting and reinstalling, or even getting a new phone, solves this. It's fine when it works.
8. If not then it's time to find a new train ticket app. This app is terrible, don't bother with it.
9. Having the tick at the top right is pretty poor placement at the best of times, but for a left hand phone user its just tedious.
10. I only use it when Trainline seem to not have tickets available and it fills me with dread every time I open it.
11. At least they didn't hike the train fares up as well and remove all the low cost trains at the same time this year... oh wait, of course they did.
