1. Having confidence that I could start my day/ journey/ travels stress free because the transport has been taken care of is a huge plus.A driver can hold you hostage for 20 minutes while he drives around other customers and then cancel your ride, and you can't even negatively rate him.
2. The waiting time then increased to 8-10 minutes on the app (and the first time this happened the cab seemed to stay parked on a nearby garden square!) If this is the norm now I might as well take my chances hailing someone on the main road or walk to the nearest rank.
3. The app doesn't pick the closest driver... Too much wait timeThe last 2 times I used this, both drivers accepted the job then 2 minutes later drove straight past my flat in central London to drop off another passenger several streets away.
4. I was in NY by the time they answered my question about excess luggage.More expensive than your local taxi cab but, and its an important but, I have never been let down by the driver who has always been early and the cab is clean and well maintained.
5. the taxi driver had a way to call someone at Gett but they still couldn't help.1. Being from US, I am used to Uber where you can order different size cars.
6. It can take 5 minutes or more to get connected with a driver and even then the driver is more likely to cancel than actually show up.
