About Expense Manager Pro

1. One click to transfer data from free version to pro version (Settings/Backup/Import Data from Free Edition). • Search by category, subcategory, payee/payer, payment method, status, description, tag, etc. • Charts by category, subcategory, payee/payer, payment method, status, description, tag, date etc. • User can easily customize background color, action bar color and button color. • Widgets: overview, summary, budget, calculator, quick add etc. • No registration and internet access are required. • Storage: backup data in sdcard and external storage.

2. If you don't use this feature, go to phone Settings/Apps/Expense Manager/Permissions to switch off SMS permission on phones with Android 6 and up. • ACCESS_WiFi_STATE: This permission allows PC connection via WiFi.

3. Save purchase receipt in sdcard and external storage. • SMS: Parse SMS message from your credit card and bank and save it automatically in the app.

4. All data save inside your phone or your personal cloud account such as Google Drive and Dropbox when you connect to.

1. No need to remember and manually upload the data.Been using the free version for over 5 years, but only recently bought the pro version to support the devs for such an excellent and useful app.

2. Problem solved! Outstanding support!Great application! I have been initially using the free version, but upgraded to the pro edition several years ago, since I liked the app so much.

3. During my last review, I wished they had a web based tool and now they have it which makes entering transactions that much easier.I have been using the free version but upgraded to the Pro version to avoid the ads at the bottom.

4. That would save quite a bit of effort.I looked at and tried about 20 different banking apps, and this one suited my needs best! I had been using Banktivity with a MacBook, but since switching to ChromeBook I needed to find a different option.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Expense Manager Pro Issues

1. Fix Expense Manager Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Expense Manager Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Expense Manager Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Expense Manager Pro" » Open Expense Manager Pro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Expense Manager Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Expense Manager Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Expense Manager Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Expense Manager Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Expense Manager Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Expense Manager Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Expense Manager Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Expense Manager Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Expense Manager Pro not working


2. Fix Expense Manager Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Expense Manager Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Expense Manager Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Expense Manager Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
