3. So, If I understand well, the current version DO NOT enable Collision detection without internet transmisting own position to your net, isn't it? >>> 2, If I try switch "Onboard" without PERMANENT use Background location, this function is refused.

4. Aftersales support would be the envy of many businesses! The live AIS feature seams effortlessly with Marine Navigator and the whole system seems a far cheaper solution to AIS.

5. They tell me it is the gps settings but gps works fine with navionics , Google maps and live ships.

9. The app is my daily driver and have my ais-catcher decoder linked to it as well through various receivers .The app is decent for its simplicity and the ability to share from/to multiple devices is excellent.

1. Fix Boat Beacon Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Boat Beacon: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Boat Beacon App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Boat Beacon" » Open Boat Beacon - AIS Navigation » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Boat Beacon » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Boat Beacon - AIS Navigation app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Boat Beacon servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Boat Beacon - AIS Navigation" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Boat Beacon app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Boat Beacon might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Boat Beacon. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Boat Beacon then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Boat Beacon not working

2. Fix Boat Beacon Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Boat Beacon be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Boat Beacon not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Boat Beacon may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
