Notable the flight recording function.Nice app with a huge bug that makes it barely usable: When connected to a sim (FS2020 with XmapsyV3 over SIMCONNECT) in the map through "Start flying now" every time the location updates all dialogs are closed and the map recenters to the plane, mabing it is impossible to use the layers dialog or scroll on the map.

2. So until that is fixed it is two stars because it's just a very pretty brick until I can use it to flight plan.The app is perfect, thanks alot because it's free! But the password recovery is very difficult and when making routes for flight it's very good if there's a lock on the page to prevent accidentally changes.

3. on both android devices, clicking replay on any past flight shows up no tracks (even if it has a distance and flight time logged), I had to download a separate GPX viewer file to review my past flights.

There two issues that in having with this app, the first is when you click on a certain feature it crashes the second problem is when you type in your aircraft information, it keeps on giving you the same image with a different aircraft.Crashes constantly! I'm using this on a Samsung Tab S6+ (flagship tablet w/ nothing else running) with X-Plane11 as I'm practicing for my real world PPL.

5. Great App I just downloaded this app yesterday and I love it, it has everything I was looking for maps and you can create a flight plan with the maps you need, I am a SIM PILOT and I can use this for my flights, right now I use Real Flight Simulator.

6. It's terrible and I would absolutely NEVER use this in a real world flight.Really easy to plan and use for flights.

7. I cannot get wind information to display and during a flight, if I go to the destination airport and touch on it for info it puts a new waypoint randomly on the screen.

8. Understand that I cannot coonect to Ping ADSB In, but have sent a number of emails over the last week seeking clarification of the situation and received no response which is disappointing.This app seems amazing with how intuitive it is and the charts are very easy to download and then find.

10. The app crashes multiple times during a flight and is far too basic for real world use.

11. The only issue I have is not being able to 'lock' the route, to prevent accidental screen presses adding a new waypoint.Edit: AirMate support contacted me and has provided me with quick and thorough support.

1. Fix AirMate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AirMate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AirMate App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AirMate" » Open AirMate » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AirMate » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AirMate app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AirMate servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AirMate" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AirMate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AirMate might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AirMate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AirMate then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AirMate not working

2. Fix AirMate Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AirMate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AirMate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AirMate may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
